June 18th, 2014 - HRSA had indicated there would be a scope alignment within the EHB to match the new form 5A. Yesterday they announced this is scheduled to take place between June 27th and July 24th. What does this mean for FQHCs? This means during that time no grantee will be able to submit a Change In Scope. If a grantee has an in progress change in scope on June 27th it will be closed by HRSA and after July 24th the grantee will need to open a new change in scope.
June 1st, 2014 - HRSA announced an Expanded Service Grant. Expanded Services (ES) supplemental funds support increased access to preventive and primary health care services, including oral health, behavioral health, pharmacy, and/or vision services at existing Health Center Program grantee sites. HRSA expects to award approximately $300 million through formula-based supplements.
MEET ICHN
Integrated Community Health Network (ICHN) is an association of community health care providers dedicated to bringing the benefits of collaboration to its members and others. ICHN seeks to provide these benefits to health providers at all stages of development from start-ups to state licensed clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospitals, and IPAs.

Founded as a ministry of the First Christian Church in 1970, Davis Street Community Center (DSCC) joined a group of church leaders in Alameda County and together they secured the first State Department of Education childcare subsidies. Today, DSFRC offers a wide range of medical, behavioral health, dental, and self-empowering services to address the needs of its communities and aims to be the provider of choice for its patients.

Brighter Beginnings embraces the Life Course philosophy of family health, in which they believe that the health of an infant depends on the entire life development of the mother, rather than just the health of the pregnancy. They focus their efforts in East Bay communities where parents and children have limited resources. Their Family Strengthening Centers are located in Oakland, Richmond and Antioch.

ICHN MISSION
Integrated Community Health Network (ICHN) seeks to facilitate projects that its members find in their interest and that can be enhanced through collaboration.
ICHN VISION
Most high level health care service integration begins simply with collaborations around straightforward projects. For example, clinics can commit to taking the necessary due diligence in providing one another with letters of support. From a first project, professional and personal relations can form; and if it is in the interest of its members, then networks can grow in sophistication and benefits.
ICHN seeks to support the development of collaborations at all levels.
